Where to Install Mods

Should go without saying, but this doesn’t apply to mods installed via the Steam workshop.

  1. Open Windows Explorer (file browser).

  2. Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/.

    • Install mods under ./Addons/Mods/.

    • Install maps under ./Maps/.

    • Install assets under ./Addons/Assets/.

    • Install saves under ./Saves/.

  3. Start/restart the game.

  4. Navigate to the Content Manager to enable the new items.
